The year was 1969 when the Apollo II mission came to be – the first man walked on the moon and subsequently inspired Italian shoemaker Giancarlo Zanatto to design what was to become a footwear legend: the Moon Boot. Influenced by the statement shape and technology of anti-gravity boots donned by the astronauts, the label created the “Icon”, the now-famous style renowned for its signature lacing, insulating construction and lightweight sole. Today, the staple has been reimagined throughout countless colourways and iterations, from the ankle-grazing Icon Low to the quilted Park style – each and every one certain to adapt to any winter-ready environment, from city sidewalks to the tallest peaks.
