In the gallery space, we partnered with four female artists from Montréal, each with their own individual voice, to help build out the visual language of the film and further inspire SJ’s creativity. Fanny Soudeyns is a visual artist. Delphine Dussoubs is an art director and multidisciplinary artist. Laurence Vallières is a sculptor, and Hamie Robitaille an art director and graphic designer.
The Homecoming score is off the project Birdwatch— a pop-oriented synthesis of numerous sound genres from artists duo Pascal Deaudelin and Thomas St-Hilaire. The featured song includes Jamaican-Canadian artist MODLEE, known for her dynamic range in jazz, soul, R&B, gospel and reggae —rooted in community, feminine strength and spirituality.
